Main Features & Application Scope
The molten steel sampler is mainly used for sampling molten steel in electric furnace, converter, tundish, before or after furnace for spectral analysis, and it has the advantages, such as simple structure and easy use.

• High sampling success rate;
• Full, dense and smooth steel samples without large pores;

Usages
•Insert the sampler into the special measurement gun.
• During sampling process, insert the molten steel sampler into the molten steel at a tilt of 60°-65° and the insertion depth of 350mm or above, and maintain the sampling time of 4-6s.
• Pick up the sampler from the furnace and tap it gently to obtain the steel sample.

Notes
• Must protect the samplers from moisture during storage process.
• Must increase the temperature of molten steel to 1500℃ or above for sampling.
• Must avoid strong vibration to prevent breakage of the quartz tube.
• Must control the sampling time.
• Must strictly follow the insertion depth of the molten steel sampler.
